Some of the closest friends and confidants I could possibly ask for were these Alaskan huskies. Their eyes reflect a world unknown and stories untold. In them dances real beauty. They are masters in reading your mind, your mood, your sense of belonging. And they have the ability to make you  feel a thousand different emotions without whispering one word. I learnt to read them too, and to drive them through fields and forests of snow. Nothing quite compares to the sensations of driving 6 dogs along a frozen river, with only the jingling chains and pants of dogs to break the stillness of Arctic wilderness. 

I thank the dogs for their patience as it did not take long for all of them to be the focus of my camera. It was an experience I urge everyone to try. Get lost under the northern lights and in the wisdom of these dogs.
